This valve cover breather assembly replaces the original oil fill cap found on the factory valve cover. The breather installs with no modifications and is fully compatible with all factory components.
Like all Metco breathers, the base is CNC-machined from billet aluminum for precise fit, and the included silicone gasket is specially designed to prevent oil seepage at the base of the breather. The filter base is polished for surface protection and good looks, and the removable filter element is a high-quality reusable unit from S & B Filters.
Note: This valve cover breather is packaged with two silicone base gaskets - one thick and one thin. Use the gasket that provides the tightest seal on your valve cover, although typically the thick seal fits small block applications and the thick seal fits the big block application.
