PML designed and is manufacturing an extra capacity pan for Ford 10R140 transmissions for 2020 and newer Ford heavy duty trucks.

PML designed this extra capacity Ford 10R140 transmission pan for heavy duty Ford trucks with both diesel and gas engines.
These vehicles usually have a Ford 10R140 transmission and may be able to use this pan:
- 2020 and newer F250
- 2020 and newer F350
- 2020 and newer F450, F550 and F600
Always check your vehicle. Configurations vary. Check for clearance for a larger pan. PML cannot guarantee fitment..
Included with PML 10R140 Transmission Pan
Gasket
PML recommends cork or cork composite type gaskets. A custom PML cork composite gasket is included with each 10R140 transmission pan. The OEM gasket is an o ring and will not work with the PML pan.

RTV will also work as a gasket.

Inside of PML 10R140 Transmission Pan
Drain, Level Check, Tabs, Optional Machining for a Temperature Sending Unit
This PML transmission pan has a drain hole on the bottom, fill/level check similar to stock pan, and tabs on the side of the flange.

There are two locations that can be drilled and tapped with a 1/8 NPT for an aftermarket temperature sending unit. One is shown in the image above and the other location is on the opposite side of the pan. There is an extra charge for PML to machine this.
The tabs on the side of the flange are for compatibility with the OEM pan. Picture shows the tabs on one side of the PML pan. On the other side of the PML pan, there are 3 more tabs.
If there is a heat shield, our customers have told us that it can be reinstalled after installing the PML pan. Minor modifications may be needed.

Some OEM stock pans have a the level check in the pan. PML includes a level check that replicates the OEM pan level check. These are on the inside of the transmission pan. In the two close up pictures of the level check, there is a metal bar that sits on the flange for reference. The holes in the PML level check are the same distance above the flange as the holes in the stock pan level check.
