Don't Start In Gear If you have a Winters SideWinder Shifter you need to have this switch.
Without this switch your engine is able to start in any gear. This is dangerous for the driver but especially anyone who is outside of the vehicle.
Only Start in Park or Neutral
Installation is easy, just loosen a few bolts on the shifter and install the switch. Wiring is even easier. The switch goes inline between the starter switch wire and the S terminal on the starter solenoid. Now your engine will only crank in Park or Neutral!
Also fits: ATI, Art Carr & Fairbanks Gate Type Shifters. Required by most racing sanctioning bodies
