If you race a Ford C-6 or C-4 then you know the hassle of trying to adapt AN hose to the cooler fittings on the case. Many shops will tell you 1/8 NPT will work but in reality, the case requires a special NPS straight thread with o-ring.
Each fitting is made to milspecs from aerospace grade material.It is then black anodized for corrosion resistance. Available in -6 AN size with 1/4 NPS thread or 1/8 NPS thread.
