Switch It Over When changing transmission style theres no need to buy a new shifter, if its a Winters Sidewinder Shifter that is The people at Winters Performance know that you work hard for your money and since you already have one of their great shifters why not offer a conversion kit that enables you to adapt that current shifter to a new type of transmission. Each hardware kit is application specific and includes everything you need to convert a Winters, ATI, ART CARR or Fairbanks or Transmission Specialties Non -Reverse Lockout shifter except the gate plate which is available here: "Gate Plates". If you wish to convert a non-lockout reverse to a NHRA/IHRA legal Reverse Lock out shifter, you are also going to need their reverse conversion kit with gate plate.
