I see you have some buffing wheels for metal as well. Would they be used with the METAL RENEW?
Yes, the METAL BUFFS are used with a power tool and the METAL RENEW for fast effective polishing on all types of metal surfaces. You can use the METAL BUFFS for heavy duty polishing to remove scratches, heavy tarnish and oxidation.

Do you have to use a special type of power tool with the METAL BUFFS?
They have a smaller ¼ inch shank so you can use them with almost any kind of drill or air tool.
We offer 6 sizes and styles; each for a different application and use:
The FELT BOB is the smallest one and is great for tight areas where the others won’t fit.
The LONG NON TAPERED BUFF is available in two sizes: 1.5" and 2.5" and is recommended for general polishing and inside cutouts like the holes in truck wheels.
The LONG TAPERED BUFF (2") works well for general polishing and some tighter areas that the NON TAPERED BUFF wouldn’t fit into.
The MUSHROOM BUFF is also available in two sizes: 3" and 4". These two are not wrapped as tight; they are a lot fluffier and are great for finish buffing. They do lint a little because they are designed to be softer and take out some of the fine line polishing scratches you can get from the more aggressive buffs.

What’s the best way to apply the polish? Would you want to apply it to the buffs or the metal?
Well you could probably do it either way, but it’s a lot easier to put the polish on the metal surface and then spread it out a little with the buff.
You can really work it in and put pressure on the buff. This really speeds up the polishing process and gets it done quickly.

Those Buffs really get black after just a small amount of use, is there a special process for cleaning them?
They’re always going to get black when polishing metal. It doesn’t affect the process and you really don’t have to worry about cleaning them.
If they get matted down from a lot of hard use you can rub across the buff with a metal brush to fluff it up a bit; but it’s still going to get dirty looking.

OK when finishing up, you said to always use the softer MUSHROOM BUFF; after that, are we done or is there another step?
I think it’s always a good idea to go over it with a quick application of the METAL RENEW by hand. This will take out any smaller swirls you might have from running the METAL BUFFS across the surface to fast towards the end.

How does POWER CLEAN work as a wheel cleaner? I know some products clean well, but they really dull out the polished aluminum wheels
Our formula is non-caustic, non-acid and biodegradable, which makes it safe for most any surface. The POWER CLEAN works great for painted, clear coated or highly polished wheels. And it also works great to clean tires, raised white letters and white walls. Other wheel cleaners may clean fast, but they dull the shine because their products are very caustic and dangerous.

When using the POWER CLEAN for wheels and tires do you have to scrub it, or just spray it on?
The best way to use the POWER CLEAN on wheels is to spray it on pretty heavily and let it soak for about a minute.
You always want to spray it onto a cool and dry wheel, and then rinse it off.
Now if the wheel hasn’t been cleaned for a few months, you may have to scrub it down with a nylon brush or towel and give it a second shot.
Same goes with tires; if the raised white letters are black you’re going to have to scrub them a little

You mentioned interior seats and dashes, what’s the best application for seats?
When using any cleaning product it’s always a good idea to test a small area first before full application.
Some materials may be affected differently than others.
For leather, vinyl seats and dashes, spray the POWER CLEAN onto a small towel or sponge and wipe the surface.
Then follow up immediately with a clean, dampened cloth to remove residue and contaminants.
It’s also a great spot remover for carpets. Just spray it on to the soiled area, let it soak in for a few seconds, and then scrub it with a white cloth.
It’s important to always use a white cloth with stains and spot removal. That way you would never risk transferring dye from a colored cloth.

Keep Your Rat Rod Clean

If you got a project that has a matte finish, primer, suede or flat colored paint its hard to find a cleaning product that won't impart a shine while removing fingerprints and dust.

The chemists at Wizards have developed Wipe Down to do all this and leave the finish as it was when it was first applied. It contains no silicones or solvents and is bodyshop safe.

Why couldn't’t you just use the MIST-N-SHINE? I know that you explained the differences between the WIPE DOWN and the MIST-N-SHINE earlier; but wouldn’t it work here too?
Actually some guys do, but they’re defeating the purpose because the MIST-N-SHINE actually helps to hide the swirl marks and fine line scratches.
While the WIPE DOWN will remove the oils left on the surface from compounding. The WIPE DOWN has no enhancement qualities.
But the MIST-N-SHINE adds a gloss and a slick feel. I guess if you wanted to hide the marks instead of removing them, that’s what you’d do.

Could the WIPE DOWN be used for other cleaning jobs or is it just for the buffing process?
The WIPE DOWN is not an all-purpose cleaner like the POWER CLEAN. It has a less aggressive cleaning ability that works best to remove dust and oily residue from the compounds.
Other uses would be for removing the oily residue buildup from repeated wax or detailer applications at car shows.
Sometimes enthusiasts will trailer their car to a show for years, applying waxes at every show and never washing them.
The WIPE DOWN will remove the oily residue without taking off all the shine and protection.
Applying decals or vinyl lettering onto paint or glass is much easier when first wetting both surfaces with the WIPE DOWN, applying the vinyl and then pressing out the liquid with a squeegee.
It eliminates the frustration caused by wrinkling, repositioning and air bubbles.
It has also been reported to work well on a satin primer finish without getting blotchy.

What is a satin primer finish?
Satin primer is basically a car without paint. It is just primed. Some of the street rodder guys want the “50’s in progress look” and run their car on the street with primer. Using the MIST-N-SHINE on the primer just doesn’t work.

BLACK RENEW is a one step cream that cleans, renews and protects ALL COLOR exterior trim.
Use BLACK RENEW to remove old wax and compound residue from moldings, bumper extensions, door handles, mudguards and anything plastic or rubber that needs restoring.

Does BLACK RENEW have any other uses? How about tires?
Some customers have used it on tires; however I think the VINYL SHINE does a better job. It does clean the white letters, but the POWER CLEAN is much faster.
Other uses would be; wiper arms, louvers, air vents and black painted grills. It really works great on exterior moldings; either smooth or textured.

Does it work like a dye, what color is it?
It’s not a shoe polish or a dye; it’s a concentrated cream that works on all colors. And because it’s concentrated, it will go a lot further then the traditional spray products.
BLACK RENEW really does a good job for the body shop. For example if one molding has been replaced and the adjacent molding is faded, you can blend them together and make it look like new.
It instantly removes embedded wax, compound or any discoloration from body side moldings. It cleans, rejuvenates and protects all in one.

What’s the best way to apply it? Does it take a lot of rubbing or do you just wipe it on?
I usually use the yellow pad; however, a cloth does work a little faster if you have a stubborn area.
Usually you can just rub it onto the piece, but if you have a molding with old wax or compound buildup; then you’ll have to scrub until it’s gone.

Do I have to let it dry and then buff it, or can I just rub it on?
Usually just rub it on and that’s all that’s required.
It can be buffed after application, but it’s not necessary. Some applications will soak it up faster than others.

How long can I expect it to last? Is it a one-time application or do I have to use it more often?
It’s not a permanent repair but it’s the best product I’ve ever found. How long it lasts really depends on how old the piece is.
Most items will need an occasional touch up, but it seams that the textured moldings will hold the shine better than the smooth ones.
Once it’s conditioned from several applications it will hold its color much longer.
In the body shop it’s a good idea to inform the customer that you used BLACK RENEW on their vehicle, and that additional applications would certainly extend the good appearance of the treated molding.
That’s also a great time for the shop to retail the product to their customer

NON-GREASY, NON SLIPPERY

So then it’s kind of like Armor All? Actually it was developed for the same purpose as other Armor type products, but with a totally different result.
The VINYL SHINE is a non-toxic formula; it’s not greasy or oily, so it won’t attract dust, it won’t sling off your tires, and it won’t mess up your paint.
When doing your seats, another nice advantage is that it won’t transfer to your clothing.
It’s the only dressing that I’ve ever used on a motorcycle seat that won’t make it slippery.

What kind of look can I expect on my tires? I like them to shine but I don’t care for the plastic / greasy look.
You can get almost any kind of look you like; just by the way it’s applied to the tire.
The more applications you give it, the higher the gloss. Some people like a high gloss and that can be achieved by allowing each application to dry and then reapplying the product.
The more you put on the more it will shine. But it will always dry.

Do you recommend cleaning the tire first or just spraying it on?
For the best results it’s recommended that you clean and dry the tires first.
You can use the POWER CLEAN and it will take off all the build up and road grime that you might have from other armor type products.
Apply the VINYL SHINE to a dry surface using our yellow sponge applicator pad.
Always spray the product onto the pad and then wipe it on the tire. That not only gets the product on the surface, it eliminates the possibility of spraying it onto the wheels.
It’s much faster and you won’t be wasting product.

After applying with the small sponge pad, is it best to buff it off with a dry cloth?
Because the VINYL SHINE will dry on its own, it’s not necessary to buff it off.
I see people spraying tire dressings all over their tire and wheel, and then wiping it off into a rag, ultimately wasting their money.

Does the VINYL SHINE have any silicone? I’ve heard a lot about it. Is it good or bad?
It doesn’t have the traditional heavy oil based silicones. It does contain a small amount of water-soluble silicone, but it’s nothing like most other armor type products.
Is it good or bad? Well it’s good, if you want a product that works. In development I created formulas without any silicone and no one would buy it, because it didn’t work.
If you shop around and actually find a dressing without silicone you will find that it works about like plain water.

So then it shouldn’t be used in the body shop?
The VINYL SHINE is used daily in many shops without a problem, as long as it is in a controlled area and not used right in front of the spray booth.
Final detailing should be done in a separate area regardless of what products you use.
To paint prep a car where VINYL SHINE was used; just pre wash like usual and it will be ok.

FAQS

You mean SHINE MASTER can be used instead of a wax, or a hand glaze?
Absolutely. SHINE MASTER can replace several products and provide excellent protection. Even though it is not a wax, it can be used as a wax replacement.
Actually many professional shops recommend this product to their customers simply because it is easy to use, has an awesome gloss and customers love it.
They always come back for more, and tell their friends.

If SHINE MASTER protects like a wax doesn’t it seal off the fresh paint? How does the paint dry?
Great question! SHINE MASTER is a breathable polymer sealant. What this means is that the protective qualities are in the plastic family but they are not a film former.
It does not totally encase the finish. It provides a micro thin layer of polyethylene polymer that creates a shingling effect with the ability to protect from the environment, but still allows the solvents to escape.
Another example would be like a teepee that lets the smoke out, but won’t let the rain in.

If it’s in the plastic family, and won’t wash away like hand glazes, how do you get it off, if you have to apply striping or do some paint work?
Not a problem at all. You don’t need a special product just to get it off.
Simply use any type of grease, wax or tar remover available at any paint jobber or retail store, with an automotive or paint department.
The body shops generally use the regular pre-cleaner or solvent recommended by the paint manufacturers, or the WIZARDS POWER CLEAN all-purpose cleaner.

OK, that sounds great, what’s the best way to use it?
To use the SHINE MASTER be sure to shake the bottle before using, apply the product to the applicator and spread evenly onto a clean and cool surface.
I like to use the BLUE WIZARDS hand pad. The hand pad allows you to apply the product evenly, it is gentle on the paint, and eliminates the possibility of pushing too hard with your fingers.

Couldn’t you do the same thing with a regular cloth?
Well, you certainly can use a cloth, but with the pad, you can do a better job.
Some people will not hold their hand flat and they will be applying the product with their fingers.
That’s not the right way to do it. With the pad, the pressure of application is spread over a larger area.
If I am working on something that needs more polishing, like a scratched area or faded paint, I think a cloth will help to restore that area faster because most cloths are a little more aggressive.

Just about any type of cloth will work for the application; however you do want to use a small piece, folded to fit in your hand.
That way you have more control and won’t be wasting a lot of product by soaking it up a big towel.

When using the cloth I always like to dampen it first. Like I mentioned earlier, always apply the product directly to the cloth and not to the surface itself.

Why is it important to put it on the cloth and not the car?
It’s always a good idea to put it on the cloth for a few reasons. First of all you won’t be using as much SHINE MASTER.
For example, when you squirt it on the hood, chances are that the engine has created a lot of heat.
The paint will be hot and the product will dry before you have a chance to spread it out.
So now you’ve wasted product, there’s more powder dust to remove and you will be rubbing longer to get it off.
It’s best to hold your hand as flat as possible to the surface, and work the product in a circular motion.
Do a panel at a time. For example, apply the SHINE MASTER to the fender and then to the door.
By that time the fender will dry to a light white haze. Then simply wipe it off to a beautiful gloss.
Some people like to do the whole vehicle and then wipe it off, if that works for you, great; personally, I think it’s easier to do a better job a panel at a time.

You’ve mentioned darker colors a few times, I’ve had trouble with some products streaking on my black vehicle; will I run into that with the SHINE MASTER?
I’ve used and tested a lot of products through the years, and SHINE MASTER is one of best to use on black.
Because all paints are not the same, some are going to require a little more attention to achieve that “ultra show gloss.”
Sometimes when the humidity is high or it’s extremely hot, it may take a little more rubbing than normal to get it off.
If you would ever run into an application that wanted to leave a shadow or was more difficult to remove, you can wipe the surface down with a wet cloth.
What happens is the fluids begin to dry at different rates, thereby leaving a streak until it dries. By wiping it down, you’re balancing out that dry time.

What about faded or dull paint? How does the SHINE MASTER work for that?
When working on faded or oxidized paint, you always want to “rub in” a small test area first.
This will determine how much you will have to apply yourself to do the job. I’ll work in one area real hard just to see what it takes to bring out the shine.
After working that area, (about the size of a football) you want to take a good look at what you’ve done. Sometimes you realize that you can back off a little, and sometimes you may have to rub it some more.

What do you do if you rub real hard and it isn’t giving you the result you want?
If the polish isn’t giving you the result you want, then you’ll want to use to the FINISH CUT compound. Or if it’s really bad, the TURBO CUT, which is more aggressive.

If it looks faded, why not just start out with the compounds, why test with the SHINE MASTER?
Because a lot of times it’s hard to tell how the paint will respond, and you never want to take off more paint than you have to.
You always want to start with the least aggressive product first. Sometimes it can be more work to take out the scratches from a more aggressive compound, than it would be to polish a little more with the SHINE MASTER.

What can I expect for durability? How long is it going to last?
On average you can expect about 3 to 6 months protection. But you have to consider how the product was applied, what condition the finish was in and what it’s been exposed to.
A question I have is: How do you know if it’s protecting?

What do you mean? Give me an example.
For example, if the paint is faded and you don’t completely remove the oxidized paint, the application will not bond.
A finish exposed to salt spray on the way to work and harsh chemicals at the (nylon brush) car wash is going to dull out much faster than the car driven by a little old lady from Pasadena.
Some people have the mistaken idea that if water doesn’t bead, then the product didn’t last. First of all the SHINE MASTER does need some time to cure.
It can take 24 to 48 hours for it to fully cure, depending on the weather and temperature. If you’re in the rain, the morning after you polished the car you see the beads running off the hood.
Then you wash it with hard water and it doesn’t bead. Remember, soft water is going to be much gentler than hard water. Just like on our skin.

It comes in a treated cotton coil about four feet long. It is sold by weight at 3.3 oz.
In comparison, other cotton polishes have 3 oz, or less per package. The special metal polish is impregnated into a surgical grade cloth, rolled into a coil, and heat-sealed into a special bag.
We package it in a sturdy metal tin for easy storage.

To open the package you always want to cut it open at the top. That way you can roll the bag up and return it to metal tin.
That way it won’t dry out.

FAQS

What do you mean dry out? Is it going to dry out once it’s open?
Not if you keep it in its original package. In cases where the bag is left open for several days or left in the sun with the bag open, it will start to dry out.
Once it’s dry, it’s not going to work very well.
If it dries out you can bring it back to life by adding just a few drops of mineral spirits.
It will still work better than most polishes, however it’s not as good as it could be. Most people will dump way too much mineral spirits into the bag and it will be way too diluted to work properly.
The best thing is to follow directions and don’t leave it out of the bag. I’ve had an opened package in the warehouse for about five or six years.
I use it occasionally and keep it as a test. I’ve always; just folded the bag and put it back in the tin, and it works like new.

So, you’ve got the package open, what is the best way to use the polish?
Simply tear off a piece about two inches, rub it into the metal you want to polish, take a cloth and wipe off the majority of the residue. Then turn the cloth or use a clean cloth, and buff it to a gloss.

Wow, it takes the paint right off the soda can, would that damage the paint on my car?
Not at all; first of all the color on a soda can isn’t paint, it is an ink process that isn’t nearly as thick as paint on a car.
And even if you polished really hard on your paint, all it would do is act like a mild rubbing compound.
It certainly wouldn’t take the paint off unless it was dangerously thin in the first place, which isn’t very likely.
The WIZARDS METAL POLISH will give you the fastest cut and brightest shine possible. There are a lot of different types of polishes out there; some cut fast but don’t shine.
Others will shine great but you have to use something to make it cut first.

Is it just for aluminum, or will it work to polish other metals as well?
The METAL POLISH is excellent on aluminum, chrome, stainless, brass, copper, nickel, pewter, silver, gold; basically on any type of metal that can be polished you can use WIZARDS.
If you can’t shine it with WIZARDS METAL POLISH, it can’t be polished, or you’re not doing it right.

Just what do you mean, not doing it right? How can you do it wrong?
It is a polish, so you have to rub it in if you want the best results. If you don’t apply yourself in the process then you won’t get the results.
Also, many times people will not get the best shine because they don’t buff it enough with the dry cloth.
You really have to get the “wet” residue off and buff it with a clean, dry cloth. Like with all the products, you just have to follow the directions. And if you do so, then you will get the best possible results.

Now, you said that you can polish any kind of metal; is there anything that you shouldn’t try and polish with the WIZARDS cloth?
Before any application it’s a good idea to think about what you want to do. For example: if you have a brand new piece of chrome, chances are the chrome doesn’t need any polishing.
If the chrome has some fading or oxidation from storage; then metal polish makes sense. If the piece is like new then you can use the MIST-N-SHINE.
Some items should never be polished with our metal polish, or any type of polish for that matter.
They would include: costume jewelry, (the cheap stuff) thinly plated silver or gold, like some household trinkets, and expensive show chrome.
Another item to avoid would be gold plated wheels. There again, whenever in doubt, test it first in a small area.

Keep Your Tranny Cool

One of the key factors in the longevity of a C-4 Transmission is to always have low fluid temps.

When you start racing and have a high stall converter the extra slip produces heat that transfers to the fluid.

By adding one of Dynamic's Cast Aluminum Pans you are gaining an extra quart of fluid as well as increasing the cooling capacity with its deep fins.

Pan is set up for Case Fill Tranny. If pan fill is desired please purchase the pan fill add-on kit.

The C4 Manual Valve Bodies offered by DYNAMIC Racing Transmissions- both with and without trans-brakes- have long been recognized for their superior performance and product reliability.
But along with the many sales and happy racers these components have produced, we often get a special request.
That request is for a forward shift Manual Valve Body assembly - without giving up the quality normally associated with DYNAMIC’s valve bodies.

So, Dynamic’s owner, Harold Miller, set out to design a new unit that would meet these requests.
After several weeks at the workbench and a few hours on the dyno it is now ready!

The new valve body has multiple benefits:

Everyone knows that supporting a rotating part in as many places as possible will extend the life of that part.

The same theory goes with the bushings inside your transmission.

By spreading the load across a wider area you are reducing shaft wear and keeping running true.

A narrower bushing, like the stock c4 part, can cause excessive runout and increase wear when used in a performance application

For The Perfect Seal

When assembling a performance C-4 its always a good idea to swap out the stock sealing rings which are prone to leaking.

This kit from Dynamic includes all the necessary sealing rings for the front pump to allow a more positive seal which increases line pressure and results in firmer shifts.

Each kit includes Orange, Black and green teflon rings which will fit the narrow and wide groove slots on the front pump.

Whether your rebuilding your trans or just swapping out converters, its always cheap insurance against leaks to replace the pump seal

This seal is the only one recommended by Dynamic for the c4-c5-c6 and AOD transmissions as it does not have the flange.

Experience has shown that the flanged seals will blow out under the increased pressure of a performance transmission.

Usually, one of the first hard parts to fail when the HP begins to climb is the input shaft.
Any C4-equipped car with heavy modification needs an input shaft constructed of superior metal with proper heat-treating.
Made to fit post-1970 C4’s, DYNAMIC’s hardened shaft, especially when combined with their Solid-Strength Forward Drum, has proven itself countless times in street driven hot rods and competition vehicles as diverse as baja racers, and 1000+ HP Renegade Mustangs.
When just changing the shaft, no disassembly of the transmission is necessary.

Switching over from a C6 to a C4? You'll need this!

For those who have been running a high performance C6 with a race converter and wish to switch to the C4, but cannot afford, or do not want to have a new converter built - we have the solution for you.
Dynamic Racing Transmissions have always been the innovators when it comes to the automatic transmission.
They designed a precision machined hardened spline adapter that allows a C6 30 splined torque converter to be used with a C4 26 splined transmission.

Installation is simple, just slide the adapter over the input shaft of the C4 and then mount your C6 converter!

Strong Under Pressure

Ordinary paper gaskets can't handle the extra pressure of a race modified C-4.

The pro's at Dynamic Racing Transmissions have come through once again with a gasket that is thicker and coated for leak resistance.

The thicker material is able to better withstand the increased line pressure that a modified front race pump can produce. This virtually eliminates the annoying leaks often found around the front pump area

Given the high power levels that DYNAMIC Racing Transmissions can build their C4s to withstand many Fords have been able to stay ‘True Blue’ – as opposed to the classic old-time breakage remedy of ‘Goin’ to a Glide’.
It would be a shame then, for an otherwise effective race C4 to be ditched because of a traction problem, just because the Powerglide is available with gear ratio options.
For just this situation, and especially for those racers who don’t even have that option- such as the NMRA Renegade racer, DYNAMIC’s 2.20 gear set for the C4 is a God-send.

Built, tested, and track-proven, this is true hard core componentry, extremely effective in calming down squirrelly, out of shape Mega HP racers.
Offered in 4-pinion and maximum strength 8-pinion versions, all DYNAMIC 2.20 sets are assembled with Torrington bearings to replace the factory spec thrust washers, thereby reducing the friction, heat build-up, and stress that the components are subjected to.

As a car’s horsepower and torque are increased, weak links will make themselves known- usually at the most inopportune times (Like maybe the last pass of the finals!)
An inferior input shaft will twist, crack, and spit splines, and obviously, you’ll want to upgrade.
Continue to push the envelope for lower ET’s and more mph, though, and you’ll find the weak link has moved, because if the shaft will no longer give way, than the forward drum that it turns will.
Casting holes in all oem forward drums, and the very material that many were made from, allow this component to distort, spread, strip, and crack.

DYNAMIC’s Solid-Strength Forward Drum’s are made only from the strongest material, and are expertly filled and machined to end up with the strongest, most reliable C4 drum on the market.
This drum is installed in every Mighty Mite C4- from the standard model to the M2 and the most hardcore X6.

Don't re-use a beat up stock blockplate on your new C-4 install.

Dynamic has come to the rescue once again with two purpose built plates that won't require cutting and trimming like some other multi-fit units on the market today.

These plates are oem thickness and are laser cut from 1018 steel to ensure a perfect fit, accurate starter alignment and proper converter spacing every time.

Available are DA4BP1 for 157 tooth applications and DA4BP2 for the 164 tooth variety.

If you race a Ford C-6 or C-4 then you know the hassle of trying to adapt AN hose to the cooler fittings on the case.

Many shops will tell you 1/8 NPT will work but in reality, the case requires a special NPS straight thread with o-ring.

It is then black anodized for corrosion resistance.

These are not your average re-machined OEM Direct Drums.

The experts at Dynamic started with a clean sheet of paper when they redesigned the Direct Drum for the C-4. You see, the internal parts of the C-4 were never meant for racing. They are made of cast steel and machined only where necessary. This leaves you with a very heavy, unbalanced part in the rotating assembly. This causes unwanted parasitic drag and vibration at higher rpms.

Every Dynamic Direct Drum is CNC machined from Aircraft quality billet aluminum for superior strength and lightweight. By CNCing the part from a chunk of billet, every surface is machined to tight tolerance. This creates a perfectly balanced component that won't shake the fillings out of your teeth at the top end!

DYNAMIC Racing Transmissions introduces yet another much needed upgrade for the racing C4.
Continuing a line of innovative offerings for the C4 which date back to the first 8 second Mighty Mites over 15 years ago, the latest addition is a ‘Hi-RPM Direct Drum’.

Recommended for competition C4’s which will be subjected to RPM levels approaching and above 8,000, the new setup will both apply and release quicker- giving a more ‘crisp’ shift .
This will, in turn, help to eliminate the dreaded shift ‘flare-up’. This, and the elimination of any centrifugal application of the direct clutches will not only improve performance, but lengthen the clutch life considerably.
The new product includes the new billet piston, spring retainer, 25 springs (which replace the old, large single spring setup), and is available assembled complete in an oem direct drum.

Dynamic Racing Transmissions is proud to announce the relaunch of the Clutch Hydro! Each kit has been designed to enable the transmission rebuilder to recreate a Clutch Hydro Transmission.

What Is A Clutch Hydro?

Back in the 60's and 70's, before the torque converter technology we have today, racers combined the variable launch rpm of a manual clutch with the instant shift capabilities of the automatic transmission. Once the clutch pedal was released, it was never touched again until you wanted to stop. The shift functions are controlled by a reverse manual valve body via a gate type shifter.

These kits became obsolete with the introduction of the hi-stall torque converter. The Clutch Hydro was very hard on driveline parts due to its instant lock-up feature. The new converter designs better enabled racers to take advantage of the engine's torque curve. Being a fluid coupling, the converter is more forgiving on internal transmission parts and the drive line they are connected to. With the advent of the transbrake, you could get a similar launch as the Clutch Hydro but without the breakage.

Switching over from a C6 to a C4? You'll need this!

For those who have been running a high performance C6 with a race converter and wish to switch to the C4, but cannot afford, or do not want to have a new converter built - we have the solution for you.
Dynamic Racing Transmissions have always been the innovators when it comes to the automatic transmission.
They designed a precision machined hardened spline adapter that allows a C6 30 splined torque converter to be used with a C4 26 splined transmission.

Installation is simple, just slide the adapter over the input shaft of the C4 and then mount your C6 converter!

In the early ‘90’s DYNAMIC Racing Transmission’s MIGHTY MITE C4 was instrumental in retiring many a C6 from the racing circuit.
The C4’s new found strength, consistency, and dependability made the C6, for the most part, an instant dinosaur.
How ironic is it, then, that it’s the same Mighty Mite that is lending its technology to the C6 today to bring it to a level of competitiveness never before experienced by its users.
Outside of all out heads up drag racing, where fans of original American iron are not as likely to get hung up over a few pounds, the C6 is still a viable option.
And when a trans brake is legal, the DYNAMIC V-2 is the finest C6 brake a racer could choose.
Comprised of a billet lower half and an upper half taken directly from the MIGHTY MITE C4, it utilizes an external solenoid for maximum mechanical and cooling efficiency.

Get Things In Alignment

Sometimes Two Is Better Than One

The artists at Undercover Innovations have done it again with the introduction of the 2-piece showpanel for 67-69 Camaros.

The original one piece showpanel is great and helps to dam off the air leaks that escape over the radiator support. Thats wasted cooling air that could be removing heat from your radiator!

The new 2-piece panel allows for easier installation and has some trick upgrades to boot.

Shift Into The Future

If you plan on upgrading your Camaro to a 5 or 6 speed box then you'll need one of these indicator plates to finish off the install.

Each plate is CNC machined from black anodized aluminum and fits perfectly in the recess on the factory console.

Here's a quick way to cover up that rough firewall!

These are made of 16-ga anodized aluminum so they are easy to clean and can be painted to match your car.

I suggest installing with silicone so they stay smooth and allow the body to flex behind it. You only need to remove your hood, wiper motor, wire gutter and any accessories you've attached to the firewall and it'll just slide into place.

Can be easily drilled for A/C fittings or wiring.

You can even choose to have it made without the hole for the wiper motor.

Getting tired of looking at that lopsided hole in the back side of your cowl hood.

Undercover Innovations made a grille that cleans that area up and makes it more symmetrical looking. It Will keep those pesky birds and leaves ( and sometimes windshield wipers) out of your air cleaner. These grilles are available in 2 styles and all 3 finishes.

We know the cowl hoods were only available on the 69s, but since they fit all first gens, they have been installed on all 3 years.

In case you are concerned about airflow- The total throttle plate area of a Holley 1050 is 9.6 sq.inches, the total open area of these grilles is 21sq.inches. More than adequate.

Each grill is made of 16-ga aluminum so they will lay flat against the uneven surface around the opening. The factory did a so-so job of threading the mounting holes, so I suggest running a tap in them first.

Better Cooling, Cleaner Engine Compartment

This panel was originally plastic and installed on the big block a/c cars. GM knew that air was being reintroduced to the front of the radiator when these cars idled. At speed the pressure from air coming under the core support was working against the flow of air through the radiator, so this panel was designed.

The GM panel only went as far as the core support. We wanted to force ALL of the air from the grille through the radiator, so ours goes all the way up to the backside of the spoiler (or to the valance). It has a divider at the core support to finish off the seal.

They are very easy to install and remove for mechanical work. They are fabbed out of 14 ga aircraft aluminum and come with all attaching parts and a cobalt drill for the 2 holes at the large crossmember.

These panels are anodized with an architectural grade process so they won't fade. You won't stir up as much dust when you are cruising because all of the air off the radiator is directed to the rear of your engine

These panels are easy to install. You just remove the two hood stops, then bow the panel slightly to slip it under the header panel. Line up the holes and reinstall the hood stops. THAT'S IT! Installation is very simple and can be completed in about fifteen minutes.

Any of these panels can be made without hood latch holes for the pin-on hood guys!

Important things to check before ordering:

There are 2 sizes of radiators so you will need to know if you have a "Standard" or "Heavy duty".
The standard radiator hold-down panel measures almost 24" and the heavy duty measures just over 28". You will select at checkout.

The 70-73 Rally Sport had 2 extra support brackets above the hood latch. If you have a true RS with these brackets, select "True Rally Sport".

Lock It Out For Safety

If you have a Winters, Ati, Fairbanks or Art Carr non-lockout shifter but need it to have reverse lockout here's the kit for you.

Winters offers all the components including a new gate-plate to make your shifter conversion a snap. Each kit has the specific parts for you transmission type to change a non-lockout to a lockout making legal for competition in most sanctioning bodies.

Don't Start In Gear

They were originally designed to combat overheating problems in first-gen Camaros. By effectively blocking off the air that would normally pass over the top of the core support, they force more cooling air into the radiator. When idling the hot air rises and can pass back over the core support to the front of the radiator recirculating hot air. So not only do they LOOK COOL, but they KEEP YOU COOL too!

These panels are easy to install. Installation is very simple and can be completed in about fifteen minutes.

Lube It Before You Assemble It

Never Never Never assemble AN fittings without lubricant!

Doing so will cause them to gall or seize together so that you must destroy the threads in order to separate the parts

You can use oil to lube or even anti seize, but both of these lubricants can't handle the loads that a precision threaded part can develop during assembly

This kit includes two essential components needed when preparing your 2011 Mustang for high performance use:
Our double-adjustable upper control arm and our heavy-duty upper control arm mounting bracket.

The control arm is the same unit we offer for the 2005-2010 Mustangs, and this unit has been proven in both high-performance street applications and in serious competition.
The control arm is assembled with a durable combination of polyurethane and Delrin bushings at the front attachment point, and it offers the unique benefit of a pivoting adjuster to prevent bind in the Mustang 3-link suspension.

The heavy-duty upper bracket is designed to install as a direct replacement for the original mounting bracket in 2011 and newer Mustangs, although it is configured to work with a 2005-2010 style upper control arm.
The bracket is CNC-formed from high-grade steel, which is precision-welded in a fixture and then powder-coated for long lasting surface protection.

When installed together, this control arm and bracket will directly replace the OEM components and no modifications to the vehicle are necessary.

2011 & Newer Ford Mustang, Shelby GT500 (Bracket Only)

This new bracket installs as a direct replacement for the stock upper control arm bracket found on all 2011 and newer Mustangs (see note below).
It is made from high-grade laser cut steel that is CNC-bent and then precision-welded in a jig.
The bracket is powder-coated for surface protection and includes an application-specific grade 8 front control arm bolt with matching hardware.

This bracket reduces the 'clunk' in the rear suspension sometimes felt by Mustang owners after high performance control arms have been installed.
The 'clunk' is often the result of the loose fit between the factory's front control arm bolt and the factory upper control arm bracket.
All Mustangs suffer from this loose fit, but the addition of high performance control arms with firmer bushings amplifies the noise.
Our bracket addresses this problem with precise fitment of the bracket and the included heavy-duty bolt.

Our bracket also offers two front control arm mounting locations, one that approximates the stock location and a second, lower attachment point designed to to improve the car's 'instant center' upon launch.
The lower attachment point also offers much-needed clearance between the car's floor pan and the control arm in lowered vehicles.

This bracket is a direct bolt-in that installs with no modifications.
However, this bracket requires the use of a 2005-2010 upper control arm or aftermarket equivalent.
It is not compatible with the stock 2011 upper control arm or any aftermarket upper control arm designed to fit the 2011 Mustang.
We recommend our own 2005-2010 upper control arm, and offer the bracket and control arm in a kit under PN MUC2011.

Get The Upper Hand On Your Suspension

The Metco Motorsports upper control arm is comprised of a precision-machined, clear anodized 6061-T6511 aluminum block housing, a threaded steel pinion, a heavy-duty zinc-plated adjuster, and a precision-welded and powdercoated clevis.

The combination of these premium components results in a control arm that can be installed as a direct replacement for the factory control arms, but offers the benefits of in-car adjustability, the firm response of polyurethane bushings, and an independent lab tested- 400% increase in strengthover the OEM part.

On Car Adjustment

The Metco control arms require no disassembly for adjustment, and the user can even dial in the pinion angle with the vehicle's weight on the suspension.

Factory Calibrated

Prior to shipment, the arms are assembled on a jig and carefully set to match the length of the stock control arms for the intended application.
No adjustment is required by the installer.

Better Ride, More Clearance

Energy Suspension-brand polyurethane bushings are included for all pivot points to provide a ride quality befitting a high performance vehicle without the harshness of rod ends or heim joints.

The design of the Metco control arm also provides additional clearance for oversize exhaust pipes routed over the axle.

Get It Centered

This Metco Motorsports high performance upper and lower control arm kit is specifically designed for the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Caprice, Impala SS and Buick Roadmaster.

The length of the arms in this kit has been optimized (0.75" has been added to the center-to-center length) to properly center the rear wheel within the wheel well, solving the problem from the factory of the wheel being positioned too far forward. Correcting the wheel position within the wheel well also improves tire clearance for owners wishing to upgrade their wheels and tires or lower their vehicles.

Like all Metco control arms, these arms are CNC-machined from 6061-T6511 billet aluminum for unsurpassed strength and precision-fit. The control arms are clear-anodized for long-lasting surface protection.

Prepare For Launch

The Metco relocation brackets are manufactured from heavy-duty laser-cut steel, precision-welded on a fixture, and powdercoated for long-lasting surface protection.

The kit includes brackets for the left and right lower control arms, Grade 8 hardware, and detailed installation instructions.

The installation of these brackets lowers the rear mounting point of the rear lower control arms, modifying the vehicle’s ‘instant center’. The ‘instant center’ of the vehicle is the point at which imaginary lines drawn to extend the vehicle’s upper and lower control arms would meet.

The brackets cause this imaginary point to move toward the rear of the vehicle, reducing the tendency of the rear of the vehicle to ‘squat’ during hard acceleration.

Power normally absorbed in suspension compression is instead applied to the suspension mounting points, driving the rear tires downward and significantly improving traction.

These brackets are recommended for vehicles used primarily in drag race applications, and are generally not recommended for vehicles used exclusively in street applications or vehicles used for autocrossing or road racing. As anti-squat is increased, anti-dive characteristics will increase and some vehicles may experience instability during hard, high-speed braking.

The installation of the ICM brackets is a complex operation and should not be attempted by an inexperienced installer. The bracket positioning requires careful measuring, including pinion angle determination, to assure proper installation.

Note: Metco ICM brackets are compatible with Metco lower control arms only.

Add a Sender Anywhere

When fabbing a custom brake system sometimes finding the right spot for a light switch can be tricky.

Fragola makes this neat fitting that tees inline to allow the addition of the switch. It has -3AN males on both ends with a 1/8" FPT female port on the side.

Just like Fragola's other brake fittings its made from milspec steel to aerospace tolerances and finished with a zinc plating.

Solid Adapter

You can't use just any fitting on the end of PTFE (Teflon) hose. It requires a design that grabs the inner core with a sleeve called an "Olive". That olive is compressed between a locknut and a receiver. When properly tightened the olive is deformed, locking the hose in place.

Every Fragola steel fitting is made in their plant right here in the USA. Milspec steel and aerospace tolerances provide a fit that is second to none. It is then coated in yellow chromate to prevent corrosion.

The properties of P.T.F.E (Teflon) make it a natural for all highly corrosive applications like automotive brake fluid. P.T.F.E also works well for hot oil and power steering fluid.

High Pressure

The hose will take high pressure and cycle over and over without failure. This hose also handles nitrous oxide with ease. P.T.F.E powder is extruded into a smooth bore tube product. The tube is then fed into a machine that weaves stainless wire into the familiar braided pattern. The hose is inspected 100% and any flawed sections are discarded.

Stainless braided hose can be abrasive to anything it comes in contact with. For that reason, Fragola Performance Systems offers -3 and -4 with both a clear and a black smoke plastic cover.

The hose will not scratch aluminum panels or remove paint. The clear maintains the stainless braided look, while the black smoke has a look of carbon fiber.

The Mean Green Starter provides 100% more torque than an overweight stock starter. With a 4.4 to 1 gear reduction, roller bearing support, and an integrated solenoid, the Mean Green Starter can crank any engine no matter how high its static compression.

Rugged Engineering

The Mean Green Starter's 3" tool steel driveshaft is supported at both ends by bearings. The stainless steel pinion shaft is externally splined to mate with the larger diameter, internally splined driveshaft. Even the armature in the high-speed motor is supported at each end with bearings. All totaled, there are five bearings in the motor and gear assembly. That's one reason we include a 2-year Warranty at no charge on every starter, (Commercial and Racing applications carry a 1-year warranty). Another is the heat resistant, integrated solenoid which continues to operate even at extreme temperatures.

Compact And Adjustable

Mean Green Starter's are compact in design to provide additional oil pan and header clearance. The starters for Ford and AMC/Jeep applications can be rotated in 20' increments to allow for better header clearance. The GM starters have dual bolt patterns for both the 12 3/4" (153 tooth) and 14" (168 tooth) flywheels.

Presto Chango

This comprehensive kit allows the user to replace the heavy factory crankshaft pulley and cage assembly with a lightweight, precision-machined aluminum hub and interchangeable outer ring on 2003-4 Mustang Cobras.

This kit is custom-engineered to be a complete bolt-on, with no cutting, drilling, or irreversible changes required.

A special tool is included to assist the installer with removal of the factory pulley retaining bolt. In most cases, total time required for installation is about two hours.

The ICPCOBRA2 kit is identical to the Metco Motorsports ICPCOBRA1 except that this kit allows the user to select one pulley ring instead of two.

Pulley ring choices include: 1" smaller than stock diameter, stock diameter, +2 lbs, +4 lbs, +6 lbs, +8 lbs, and +10 lbs.

2009 & Newer Cadillac CTS-V

This precision-machined idler relocation bracket is designed specifically for the GM LSA application.
The bracket installs as a direct replacement for the original, but moves the Metco 50mm crank idler pulley (bottom) away from the crank pulley to allow for drive rings larger than 9.55".
Another important benefit is that the 100mm supercharger idler pulley's position (top) is optimized to improve belt wrap at the supercharger pulley, which is crucial in applications using a smaller-than-stock supercharger pulley.

No modifications are necessary for installation, and all necessary fasteners are included.

As shipped, the kit includes the bracket and fasteners only.
The bracket is intended for use with our 50mm crank idler pulley, and if your vehicle is not already equipped with this pulley, please select the appropriate option below.
If the supercharger pulley has been changed to an overdrive (smaller) unit, the oversize 100mm supercharger idler (MIP-100V) should be added.

2010 & Newer Camaro SS, 2009 & Newer CTS-V

This billet idler pulley can be installed as a direct replacement for the unsightly plastic pulley mounted on the tensioner arm of the new Camaro SS and the supercharged CTS-V.

Like all Metco Motorsports pulleys, this pulley is precision-machined from billet aluminum and then hard-coat anodized in black on the back side of the pulley and on the belt surface. Like our other pulleys, a billet bearing cover and stainless steel retaining bolt is included.

This 87mm 6-rib pulley is slightly smaller than the OEM pulley, but serves to optimize belt tension as indicated on the factory tensioner indicator. This pulley represents a simple and inexpensive way to enhance the underhood appearance of your new Camaro or CTS-V and add durability at the same time. No modifications are necessary to install this pulley and the original serpentine belt can be reused.

Installation Note: This pulley replaces the pulley on the tensioner arm, located on the passenger side of the engine next to the throttle body inlet. On the supercharged CTS-V application, this pulley is part of the accessory drive, not the supercharger drive, and does not affect the boost level provided by the supercharger.

The Sidewinder is Fail-Safe! It's mechanically impossible to accidentally shift into reverse from any forward gear. A sturdy, steel guard bars the shifting rod from all other positions except first, second, or third. When you want reverse, only you can put it there.

Our Lockout Shifter features an extra mechanism that must be pulled up towards the knob in order to shift in and out of the reverse and park positions.

This valve cover breather assembly replaces the original oil fill tube on the passenger side factory valve cover.
The base is CNC-machined from billet aluminum for precise fit, and the included silicone O-ring is specially designed to prevent oil seepage at the base of the breather.
The filter base is microfinished for surface protection and good looks, and is easily hand-polished to a mirror-like appearance.
The removable filter element is a high-quality reusable unit from S & B Filters, which is securely retained in the filter base by a specially-machined retention groove in the top of the base.

The purpose of this valve cover breather is to vent unwanted accumulation of pressure in the crankcase, and to provide maximum circulation of ambient air in the crankcase to reduce oil temperatures.
The installation of this breather will contribute to increased engine oil life and reduce the possibility of failed engine seals resulting from excessive crankcase pressure.
This breather will reduce the effectiveness of the vehicle's PCV system, and it is not emissions-legal.

Note 1: On LSx applications, this breather can be installed in place of the OEM oil cap on top of the factory oil fill tube.
With this installation, the factory engine cover (if equipped) can be retained. Our breather can also be installed directly in the factory valve cover without the fill tube for a cleaner look, but there will be interference with the engine cover.

The key to this kit is the billet adapter fitting. It is CNC-machined for precision fit and leak-free performance and attaches directly to the schrader valve outlet on the factory GM fuel rail.
The front side of the fitting accepts a standard 1/8" NPT fitting, which matches the outlet on the included carbon fiber-faced, liquid-filled 1.5" pressure gauge.

This crank case breather assembly replaces the cap on the oil fill tube located on the driver's side of the intake of the late model Hemi engine.
The base of the breather is CNC-machined from billet aluminum for precise fit, and the included silicone O-ring is specially designed to prevent oil seepage at the base of the breather.

The filter base is microfinished for surface protection and good looks, and is easily hand-polished to a mirror-like appearance.
The removable filter element is a high-quality reusable unit from S & B Filters, and is securely retained in the filter base by a specially-machined retention groove at the top of the filter base.

The purpose of this crank case breather is to vent unwanted accumulation of pressure in the crankcase, and to provide maximum circulation of ambient air in the crankcase to reduce oil temperatures.
The installation of this breather will contribute to increased engine oil life and reduce the possibility of failed engine seals resulting from excessive crankcase pressure.
This breather will reduce the effectiveness of the vehicle's PCV system, and it is not emissions-legal.

Note 1: This crank case breather will fit earlier Mopar applications using the same screw-in style oil fill cap.

Note 2: This breather stand is also available with a male #10AN connection at the top instead of the provision for the breather element. This configuration is designed for use in a custom crankcase evacuation system or for use with a vacuum pump. Please see Metco Motorsports PN MBR0012-10AN, listed elsewhere in this section.

This bolt-on driveshaft safety loop is designed exclusively for the 2009 and newer Dodge Challenger equipped with the six-speed transmission.

This driveshaft safety loop is an original Metco Motorsports design and no modifications are necessary for installation. The loop can be installed without having to remove the driveshaft and it is compatible with popular aftermarket exhaust systems.

The mounting bracket, support bracket and hoop that comprise this kit are made from laser-cut high-grade steel, which is then precision-formed on a CNC press. The components are powdercoated in black for appearance and long-lasting surface protection.

The mounting bracket attaches securely to the transmission tailshaft at three existing points using the supplied hardware, and it positions the hoop in the driveshaft tunnel above the exhaust system and behind the shifter. The heavy-duty support bracket is secured using two of the four crossmember attachment bolts and it serves to support the mounting bracket and to prevent any movement or vibration.

The mounting bracket attaches securely to the transmission crossmember using the supplied hardware, and the vertical portion of the bracket fits neatly in the notch at the transmission tailshaft. 2011 & Newer Ford Mustang, Shelby GT500 (Bracket Only)

This new bracket installs as a direct replacement for the stock upper control arm bracket found on all 2011 and newer Mustangs (see note below).
It is made from high-grade laser cut steel that is CNC-bent and then precision-welded in a jig.
The bracket is powder-coated for surface protection and includes an application-specific grade 8 front control arm bolt with matching hardware.

This bracket reduces the 'clunk' in the rear suspension sometimes felt by Mustang owners after high performance control arms have been installed.
The 'clunk' is often the result of the loose fit between the factory's front control arm bolt and the factory upper control arm bracket.
All Mustangs suffer from this loose fit, but the addition of high performance control arms with firmer bushings amplifies the noise.
Our bracket addresses this problem with precise fitment of the bracket and the included heavy-duty bolt.

Our bracket also offers two front control arm mounting locations, one that approximates the stock location and a second, lower attachment point designed to to improve the car's 'instant center' upon launch.
The lower attachment point also offers much-needed clearance between the car's floor pan and the control arm in lowered vehicles.

This bracket is a direct bolt-in that installs with no modifications.
However, this bracket requires the use of a 2005-2010 upper control arm or aftermarket equivalent.
It is not compatible with the stock 2011 upper control arm or any aftermarket upper control arm designed to fit the 2011 Mustang.

Made from the finest quality aircraft aluminum, each panel is created on state of the art CNC equipment to ensure a perfect fit. They look great, but that's not all they do.

They were originally designed to combat overheating problems in first-gen Camaros. By effectively blocking off the air that would normally pass over the top of the core support, they force more cooling air into the radiator. When idling the hot air rises and can pass back over the core support to the front of the radiator re-circulating hot air. So not only do they LOOK COOL, but they KEEP YOU COOL too!

These panels are easy to install. This panel will take the place of the plastic factory panel that cover the top of your core support. It will use some of the same attaching points and fasteners. This convenient kit is offered to simplify the process of outfitting your supercharged Cobra with complete set of heavy-duty idler pulleys and the auxiliary idler bracket.
The kit includes our durable and proven Cobra auxiliary idler bracket with hardware, (1) pulley to mount on the bracket, and (3) billet idlers to replace those found on the factory supercharger drive.

The bracket is the same extreme-duty idler bracket listed under PN MCI-90 (shown elsewhere in this section), and the idlers are the precision-machined, hardcoat-anodized billet idlers with bearing covers (PN MIP-90 or MIPDBR90), also listed in this section.

This idler kit is offered with either single or double-bearing pulleys, and with two different mixes of 90mm and 100mm pulley sizes.

Like all Metco Motorsports fuel rails, these rails are precision-machined from billet, not extruded stock like most other aftermarket fuel rails.
These rails have the largest-available internal diameter at 11/16".
This large internal volume ensures that the maximum amount of fuel is available at the injector and pump pulsations and pressure variations are minimized.

As shipped, the complete kit includes USA-made black-anodized swivel fittings at the rear for the included braided steel crossover, and a matching port plug for the front of the passenger-side rail.
An optional feed-line adapter (shown), Metco Motorsports part number MFRS2000, can be added to make the connection to the OEM fuel feed line a simple process.

The rail set includes one driver's side rail with (2) 1/8" NPT ports to facillitate the installation of a fuel pressure gauge, nitrous system, or both, and one passenger side rail machined with a smooth top.
Stainless pipe plugs are included for any unused ports in the driver's side rail.

These fuel rails are available in the clear-anodized finish (shown), and may be special-ordered in a high-polished finish at additional cost.

This kit includes two essential components needed when preparing your 2011 Mustang for high performance use:
Our double-adjustable upper control arm and our heavy-duty upper control arm mounting bracket.

The control arm is the same unit we offer for the 2005-2010 Mustangs, and this unit has been proven in both high-performance street applications and in serious competition.
The control arm is assembled with a durable combination of polyurethane and Delrin bushings at the front attachment point, and it offers the unique benefit of a pivoting adjuster to prevent bind in the Mustang 3-link suspension.

The heavy-duty upper bracket is designed to install as a direct replacement for the original mounting bracket in 2011 and newer Mustangs, although it is configured to work with a 2005-2010 style upper control arm.
The bracket is CNC-formed from high-grade steel, which is precision-welded in a fixture and then powder-coated for long lasting surface protection.

When installed together, this control arm and bracket will directly replace the OEM components and no modifications to the vehicle are necessary.

Get That Pulley Off Correctly

2007 & Newer Shelby GT500

For Shelby GT500 owners who must remove the Metco Motorsports two-piece supercharger pulley from their GT500, this special tool is available. The design of the supercharger snout in the GT500 application makes it impossible to remove the hub using a standard pulley removal & installation tool, but this specially-designed tool makes the process quick and easy.

The simple design of the tool allows the user to remove the press-on steel pulley hub from the supercharger shaft without damage to the hub or to the supercharger case. The end of the center bolt is centered on the end of the supercharger shaft, and the included five bolts are threaded through the tool and into the supercharger pulley hub. A wrench is used to hold the hex on the hub portion of the tool, and a second wrench is used to turn the center bolt, drawing the pulley hub off the shaft.

The tool is machined from the highest quality materials and can be re-used many times.

Kit includes center bolt, pulley flange, and (5) bolts.

The Metco relocation brackets are manufactured from heavy-duty laser-cut steel, precision-welded on a fixture, and powdercoated for long-lasting surface protection.
The kit includes brackets for the left and right lower control arms, Grade 8 hardware, and detailed installation instructions.

The installation of these brackets lowers the rear mounting point of the rear lower control arms, modifying the vehicle’s ‘instant center’.
The ‘instant center’ of the vehicle is the point at which imaginary lines drawn to extend the vehicle’s upper link and lower control arms would meet.
The brackets cause this imaginary point to move toward the rear of the vehicle, reducing the tendency of the rear of the vehicle to ‘squat’ during hard acceleration.
Power normally absorbed in suspension compression is instead applied to the suspension mounting points, driving the rear tires downward and significantly improving traction.
The Metco relocation brackets are a direct bolt-on and install with no cutting or drilling.

These brackets are recommended for vehicles used primarily in drag race applications, and are generally not recommended for vehicles used exclusively in street applications or vehicles used for autocrossing or road racing.
As anti-squat is increased, anti-dive characteristics will increase and some vehicles may experience instability during hard, high-speed braking.

Note: Metco ICM brackets are compatible with Metco lower control arms only.

The Metco Motorsports upper control arm is comprised of a precision-machined aluminum block housing a threaded steel pinion, a heavy-duty zinc-plated adjuster, and a precision-welded and plated clevis.
The combination of these premium components results in a control arm that can be installed as a direct replacement for the factory control arm, but offers the benefits of in-car adjustability, the firm response of the upgraded bushing, and an independently-verified 400% increase in strength.

The Metco control arm for the new Mustang incorporates a unique pivoting clevis necessary to avoid binding in the Mustang's 3-link suspension.
A heavy-duty steel pivot mounts precisely in a Delrin insert to allow proper articulation without allowing unwanted movement.

A specific combination of Energy Suspension-brand polyurethane and Delrin bushings is included for the front pivot point to provide a ride quality befitting a high performance vehicle without the harshness of rod ends or heim joints.

The Metco control arm requires no disassembly for adjustment, and the user can even dial in the pinion angle with the vehicle's weight on the suspension.
Prior to shipment, the arm is assembled to match the length of the stock control arm found on the 2005 and newer Mustang. No adjustment is required by the installer.

Note: The use of the Metco Heavy-Duty Upper Control Arm Bracket (MUB2005, also listed in this section) is highly recommended in applications with an aftermarket upper control arm.
From the factory, the fitment between the front control arm bolt and the factory control arm bracket is very poor, and Mustang owners often complain of the resulting 'clunk' sound while driving.
The addition of a high performance control arm with a firmer bushing amplifies the noise, so the use of the precise-fitting Metco bracket is highly recommended to eliminate the problem.

Presto Chango

This comprehensive kit allows the user to replace the heavy factory crankshaft pulley and cage assembly with a lightweight, precision-machined aluminum hub and interchangeable outer ring on 2003-4 Mustang Cobras.

This kit is custom-engineered to be a complete bolt-on, with no cutting, drilling, or irreversible changes required.

A special tool is included to assist the installer with removal of the factory pulley retaining bolt. In most cases, total time required for installation is about two hours.

The ICPCOBRA2 kit is identical to the Metco Motorsports ICPCOBRA1 except that this kit allows the user to select one pulley ring instead of two.

Pulley ring choices include: 1" smaller than stock diameter, stock diameter, +2 lbs, +4 lbs, +6 lbs, +8 lbs, and +10 lbs.

This high-quality tool kit can be configured to remove a supercharger pulley and to install a supercharger pulley. It is precision-machined from the highest quality materials and is designed to be re-used many times.

The kit is designed specifically for use on the factory-supercharged modular applications, and is configured so that the supercharger will not be scratched or damaged in any way when the tool is used. Illustrated instructions are included.

Note 1: Due to the extremely tight interference fit of the factory supercharger pulley on the Shelby GT500 and the weak design of the pulley itself, the factory pulley is often damaged upon removal. Metco Motorsports offers a stock-sized 3.00" diameter two-piece supercharger pulley for the GT500 in case the owner later wishes to return to the stock boost level.

Note 2: Due to clearance issues, a Metco Motorsports supercharger pulley hub cannot be removed from the Shelby GT500 using this pulley tool. A dedicated GT500 hub removal tool is available from Metco Motorsports under PN MPT0002.

Note 3: The large horseshoe bracket included with the tool kit was revised with production runs beginning 7.1.2008. Previously, the bracket was laser cut steel, but in the interest of greater strength the bracket is now CNC-machined from 1026 high-grade steel. Additionally, the shape of the bracket itself was enlarged and thickness has been added to prevent bending that may occur upon removal of the Shelby GT500 supercharger pulley.

By effectively blocking off the air that would normally pass over the top of the core support, they force more cooling air into the radiator.
When idling the hot air rises and can pass back over the core support to the front of the radiator recirculating hot air.
So not only do they LOOK COOL, but they KEEP YOU COOL too!

These panels are easy to install. You just remove the two hood stops, then slip it under the header panel.
Line up the holes and reinstall the hood stops.
THAT'S IT! Installation is very simple and can be completed in about fifteen minutes.

With the renewed interest in vintage racing and old time drags many customers have been asking about the Clutch Hydro kits. Although they lack the technology and precision that a modern Hi-Stall converter and transbrake tranny can offer, there is still a desire to have one of these kits.

Fast Forward To Today

Dynamic Racing Transmissions is proud to announce the relaunch of the Clutch Hydro! Each kit has been designed to enable the transmission rebuilder to recreate a Clutch Hydro Transmission.

What Is A Clutch Hydro?

Back in the 60's and 70's, before the torque converter technology we have today, racers combined the variable launch rpm of a manual clutch with the instant shift capabilities of the automatic transmission. Once the clutch pedal was released, it was never touched again until you wanted to stop. The shift functions are controlled by a reverse manual valve body via a gate type shifter.

These kits became obsolete with the introduction of the hi-stall torque converter. The Clutch Hydro was very hard on driveline parts due to its instant lock-up feature. The new converter designs better enabled racers to take advantage of the engine's torque curve. Being a fluid coupling, the converter is more forgiving on internal transmission parts and the drive line they are connected to. With the advent of the transbrake, you could get a similar launch as the Clutch Hydro but without the breakage.

1979-2004 Ford Mustang, Cougar, Select Thunderbird

The Metco Motorsports upper control arm is comprised of a precision-machined aluminum block housing a threaded steel pinion, a heavy-duty zinc-plated adjuster, and a precision-welded and powdercoated clevis.
The combination of these premium components results in a control arm that can be installed as a direct replacement for the factory control arms, but offers the benefits of in-car adjustability, the firm response of polyurethane bushings, and an independently-verified 400% increase in strength.

The Metco control arms require no disassembly for adjustment, and the user can even dial in the pinion angle with the vehicle's weight on the suspension.
Prior to shipment, the arms are assembled on a jig and carefully set to match the length of the stock control arms for the intended application.
No adjustment is required by the installer.

Energy Suspension-brand polyurethane bushings are included for all pivot points to provide a ride quality befitting a high performance vehicle without the harshness of rod ends or heim joints.
The design of the Metco control arm also provides additional clearance for oversize exhaust pipes routed over the axle.

The control arm set includes polyurethane bushings to replace the bushings in the differential ears, the necessary hardware, and comprehensive installation instructions.

Dynamic has the solution with the Street/Strip series transmissions.

Each C-4 unit, unless specified- usually for restoration purposes- starts with the '70 and up, 26-spline, case-fill transmission. In addition to the larger diameter input shaft, each unit is upgraded to 5-clutch drums, superior grade clutches and intermediate band, wide babbit bushings, and more.

The valve bodies maintain the standard shift pattern. Shifts are very firm and crisp, whether you put your trans in Drive and let it shift itself, or choose to start out in Low and shift manually.

Of course, one of the biggest differences is the precise assembly and attention to detail given to each assembly by Dynamic's professional staff.

Each transmission is dynotested before it leaves our building, so you can bolt up your new DYNAMIC with confidence.

The Mighty Mite C-4 racing transmission is the original invention of Harold Miller at Dynamic Racing Transmissions. Over the years there have been many "copycats" and imposters posing as the real Mighty-Mite.

Lets set the record straight once and for all, Dynamic Racing Transmissions in Branford Ct is the sole inventor and builder of the Mighty-Mite C-4 Transmission PERIOD!

Take all the features of the Upgrade Comp, add the Brake Valve Body and additional rollerization, and you have the original Mighty Mite.

With the added option of DYNAMIC's 2.20 gear set, the X-6 is the C4 of choice for the widest variety of the Fastest Fords- from Supercharged, Turbo, or Nitrous assisted Small Blocks, to the Hi-Rev Modular Cars. 1979-2004 Ford Mustang, Select Thunderbird, Cougar, & Capri

The Metco relocation brackets are manufactured from heavy-duty laser-cut steel, precision-welded on a fixture, and powdercoated for long-lasting surface protection.
The kit includes brackets for the left and right lower control arms, Grade 8 hardware, and detailed installation instructions.

The installation of these brackets lowers the rear mounting point of the rear lower control arms, modifying the vehicle’s ‘instant center’.
The ‘instant center’ of the vehicle is the point at which imaginary lines drawn to extend the vehicle’s upper and lower control arms would meet.
The brackets cause this imaginary point to move toward the rear of the vehicle, reducing the tendency of the rear of the vehicle to ‘squat’ during hard acceleration.
Power normally absorbed in suspension compression is instead applied to the suspension mounting points, driving the rear tires downward and significantly improving traction.

These brackets are recommended for vehicles used primarily in drag race applications, and are generally not recommended for vehicles used exclusively in street applications or vehicles used for autocrossing or road racing.
As anti-squat is increased, anti-dive characteristics will increase and some vehicles may experience instability during hard, high-speed braking.
The installation of the ICM brackets is a complex operation and should not be attempted by an inexperienced installer.
The bracket positioning requires careful measuring, including pinion angle determination, to assure proper installation.

This manual ball valve has 1/2" N.P.T. fittings.
When used in a production style race car, the Accusump is often mounted in the "passenger" side with the valve within reach of the driver when belted in.

If the driver can not reach the valve when attached to the Accusump cylinder.
Then the valve can be mounted remotely, away from the Accusump body where the driver can reach it.
The Accusump cylinder can be mounted elsewhere with the hose connecting the valve and the Accusump.

Canton Racing Accusump electric valve kits provide a convenient way of operating the Accusump.
They also prove useful when mounting the Accusump in hard-to-access locations.
When wired directly into the ignition switch, the Accusump can be operated automatically to provide pre-oiling.

This ‘05-up V8 Mustang coolant expansion / fill tank features a billet radiator style neck.
It is a direct replacement for the plastic factory unit and accepts our part #81-016 pressure cap or any standard 16 psi radiator style cap.

This tank is an aluminum replacement for the plastic tank that is used to relocate the coolant tank in Vortech and Paxton supercharger systems.

Why couldn't’t you just use the MIST-N-SHINE? I know that you explained the differences between the WIPE DOWN and the MIST-N-SHINE earlier; but wouldn’t it work here too?
Actually some guys do, but they’re defeating the purpose because the MIST-N-SHINE actually helps to hide the swirl marks and fine line scratches.
While the WIPE DOWN will remove the oils left on the surface from compounding. The WIPE DOWN has no enhancement qualities.
But the MIST-N-SHINE adds a gloss and a slick feel. I guess if you wanted to hide the marks instead of removing them, that’s what you’d do.

Could the WIPE DOWN be used for other cleaning jobs or is it just for the buffing process?
The WIPE DOWN is not an all-purpose cleaner like the POWER CLEAN. It has a less aggressive cleaning ability that works best to remove dust and oily residue from the compounds.
Other uses would be for removing the oily residue buildup from repeated wax or detailer applications at car shows.
Sometimes enthusiasts will trailer their car to a show for years, applying waxes at every show and never washing them.
The WIPE DOWN will remove the oily residue without taking off all the shine and protection.
Applying decals or vinyl lettering onto paint or glass is much easier when first wetting both surfaces with the WIPE DOWN, applying the vinyl and then pressing out the liquid with a squeegee.
It eliminates the frustration caused by wrinkling, repositioning and air bubbles.
It has also been reported to work well on a satin primer finish without getting blotchy.

What is a satin primer finish?
Satin primer is basically a car without paint. It is just primed. Some of the street rodder guys want the “50’s in progress look” and run their car on the street with primer. Using the MIST-N-SHINE on the primer just doesn’t work.

Boost & Stabilize

THE PROBLEM

The quality of diesel fuel has been on a steady decline since 1973. With today’s poor quality fuels - breakdown, hesitation, filter clogging, injector malfunctions, erratic combustion efficiency, intolerable moisture, sludge, algae, fungus and poor fuel economy are common problems.

All diesel stocks contain high concentrations of paraffin, with the low sulfur fuels containing the most. As the ambient temperature drops, solid wax crystals form in the fuel. The temperatures in which these crystals form is the “Cloud Point”. The crystalline formulation continues as temperature drops and wax begins to collect on the fuel filter.

Eventually, the wax build up will choke the fuel supply completely clogging the fuel filter. The “Cold Filter Plug Point” (CFPP) is the temperature at which the fuel becomes so viscous that it will barely allow the fuel to flow. At this point, filters will no longer function.

Kerosene or gasoline is sometimes added to diesel fuel to dilute its paraffin contentand, therefore, reduce the CFPP. However, this also reduces the BTU value and the lubricating properties of the fuel. The result is less power and reduced lubrication for the fuel injectors and the valves, which can eventually ruin the engine.

THE SOLUTION

Dynamic’s Diesel Boost was the world’sfirst multi-functional fuel additive containing a cold flow improver.

The Anti-Gel reduces the size of the wax crystals so that they will pass through the filter. This allows the fuel to flow and prevents clogging of the fuel filter.

You mean SHINE MASTER can be used instead of a wax, or a hand glaze?
Absolutely. SHINE MASTER can replace several products and provide excellent protection. Even though it is not a wax, it can be used as a wax replacement.
Actually many professional shops recommend this product to their customers simply because it is easy to use, has an awesome gloss and customers love it.
They always come back for more, and tell their friends.

If SHINE MASTER protects like a wax doesn’t it seal off the fresh paint? How does the paint dry?
Great question! SHINE MASTER is a breathable polymer sealant. What this means is that the protective qualities are in the plastic family but they are not a film former.
It does not totally encase the finish. It provides a micro thin layer of polyethylene polymer that creates a shingling effect with the ability to protect from the environment, but still allows the solvents to escape.
Another example would be like a teepee that lets the smoke out, but won’t let the rain in.

If it’s in the plastic family, and won’t wash away like hand glazes, how do you get it off, if you have to apply striping or do some paint work?
Not a problem at all. You don’t need a special product just to get it off.
Simply use any type of grease, wax or tar remover available at any paint jobber or retail store, with an automotive or paint department.
The body shops generally use the regular pre-cleaner or solvent recommended by the paint manufacturers, or the WIZARDS POWER CLEAN all-purpose cleaner.

OK, that sounds great, what’s the best way to use it?
To use the SHINE MASTER be sure to shake the bottle before using, apply the product to the applicator and spread evenly onto a clean and cool surface.
I like to use the BLUE WIZARDS hand pad. The hand pad allows you to apply the product evenly, it is gentle on the paint, and eliminates the possibility of pushing too hard with your fingers.

Couldn’t you do the same thing with a regular cloth?
Well, you certainly can use a cloth, but with the pad, you can do a better job.
Some people will not hold their hand flat and they will be applying the product with their fingers.
That’s not the right way to do it. With the pad, the pressure of application is spread over a larger area.
If I am working on something that needs more polishing, like a scratched area or faded paint, I think a cloth will help to restore that area faster because most cloths are a little more aggressive.

Just about any type of cloth will work for the application; however you do want to use a small piece, folded to fit in your hand.
That way you have more control and won’t be wasting a lot of product by soaking it up a big towel.

When using the cloth I always like to dampen it first. Like I mentioned earlier, always apply the product directly to the cloth and not to the surface itself.

Why is it important to put it on the cloth and not the car?
It’s always a good idea to put it on the cloth for a few reasons. First of all you won’t be using as much SHINE MASTER.
For example, when you squirt it on the hood, chances are that the engine has created a lot of heat.
The paint will be hot and the product will dry before you have a chance to spread it out.
So now you’ve wasted product, there’s more powder dust to remove and you will be rubbing longer to get it off.
It’s best to hold your hand as flat as possible to the surface, and work the product in a circular motion.
Do a panel at a time. For example, apply the SHINE MASTER to the fender and then to the door.
By that time the fender will dry to a light white haze. Then simply wipe it off to a beautiful gloss.
Some people like to do the whole vehicle and then wipe it off, if that works for you, great; personally, I think it’s easier to do a better job a panel at a time.

You’ve mentioned darker colors a few times, I’ve had trouble with some products streaking on my black vehicle; will I run into that with the SHINE MASTER?
I’ve used and tested a lot of products through the years, and SHINE MASTER is one of best to use on black.
Because all paints are not the same, some are going to require a little more attention to achieve that “ultra show gloss.”
Sometimes when the humidity is high or it’s extremely hot, it may take a little more rubbing than normal to get it off.
If you would ever run into an application that wanted to leave a shadow or was more difficult to remove, you can wipe the surface down with a wet cloth.
What happens is the fluids begin to dry at different rates, thereby leaving a streak until it dries. By wiping it down, you’re balancing out that dry time.

What about faded or dull paint? How does the SHINE MASTER work for that?
When working on faded or oxidized paint, you always want to “rub in” a small test area first.
This will determine how much you will have to apply yourself to do the job. I’ll work in one area real hard just to see what it takes to bring out the shine.
After working that area, (about the size of a football) you want to take a good look at what you’ve done. Sometimes you realize that you can back off a little, and sometimes you may have to rub it some more.

What do you do if you rub real hard and it isn’t giving you the result you want?
If the polish isn’t giving you the result you want, then you’ll want to use to the FINISH CUT compound. Or if it’s really bad, the TURBO CUT, which is more aggressive.

If it looks faded, why not just start out with the compounds, why test with the SHINE MASTER?
Because a lot of times it’s hard to tell how the paint will respond, and you never want to take off more paint than you have to.
You always want to start with the least aggressive product first. Sometimes it can be more work to take out the scratches from a more aggressive compound, than it would be to polish a little more with the SHINE MASTER.

What can I expect for durability? How long is it going to last?
On average you can expect about 3 to 6 months protection. But you have to consider how the product was applied, what condition the finish was in and what it’s been exposed to.
A question I have is: How do you know if it’s protecting?

What do you mean? Give me an example.
For example, if the paint is faded and you don’t completely remove the oxidized paint, the application will not bond.
A finish exposed to salt spray on the way to work and harsh chemicals at the (nylon brush) car wash is going to dull out much faster than the car driven by a little old lady from Pasadena.
Some people have the mistaken idea that if water doesn’t bead, then the product didn’t last. First of all the SHINE MASTER does need some time to cure.
It can take 24 to 48 hours for it to fully cure, depending on the weather and temperature. If you’re in the rain, the morning after you polished the car you see the beads running off the hood.
Then you wash it with hard water and it doesn’t bead. Remember, soft water is going to be much gentler than hard water. Just like on our skin.

It comes in a treated cotton coil about four feet long. It is sold by weight at 3.3 oz.
In comparison, other cotton polishes have 3 oz, or less per package. The special metal polish is impregnated into a surgical grade cloth, rolled into a coil, and heat-sealed into a special bag.
We package it in a sturdy metal tin for easy storage.

To open the package you always want to cut it open at the top. That way you can roll the bag up and return it to metal tin.
That way it won’t dry out.

FAQS

What do you mean dry out? Is it going to dry out once it’s open?
Not if you keep it in its original package. In cases where the bag is left open for several days or left in the sun with the bag open, it will start to dry out.
Once it’s dry, it’s not going to work very well.
If it dries out you can bring it back to life by adding just a few drops of mineral spirits.
It will still work better than most polishes, however it’s not as good as it could be. Most people will dump way too much mineral spirits into the bag and it will be way too diluted to work properly.
The best thing is to follow directions and don’t leave it out of the bag. I’ve had an opened package in the warehouse for about five or six years.
I use it occasionally and keep it as a test. I’ve always; just folded the bag and put it back in the tin, and it works like new.
