Lets face it, it is a bear to try and re-install cast iron small block Chevy exhaust manifolds.
For some reason, once you take them off they have a tendency to warp and then the bolt holes don't line up with the head anymore.
Well I guess it happened to someone at Lisle tolls because the decided to make a spreader that goes between the two horns of the manifold and pushes them back into submission.
This leaves a free hand to install the bolts while you hold the manifold in place.
