It all started as a thought back in 1986. I was working on my 68 Camaro and getting increasingly frustrated with finding quality parts and supplies to complete the job.
Most of the chain parts stores don’t have the stuff you need for a racecar or even a restoration.
Heck, most of the places that deal in professional level products won’t even sell to the little guy. I vowed to one day have a company that would bridge the gap between the part stores and the warehouses to offer the high quality products, tested in-house, that we racers and restorers need!

Over the last twenty years my original idea continued to evolve in my head.
Using my experiences from the companies I worked for over this time enabled me to see the right and wrong way to do things.
I kept detailed notes for my eventual launch. With this knowledge, and my hands on background, I put my plan into action as Lyons Performance LLC.

What you see on these pages is the culmination of many years of ideas, dreams and even some nightmares to produce what I believe is just what the sportsman and hobby car builder is looking for.
A wise man once said, “If the only tool you have is a hammer, then all your problems look like nails”

Another advantage is that I get to share this experience with my two boys who work beside me to build Lyons Performance LLC into a well-respected company.
